Despite embarking on their maiden European campaign, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Without key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a comfortable win that all but guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
A further victory in their upcoming match against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to secure direct entry to the knockout stages, particularly following a previous stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Grasp the Moment
This match offered a platform for several Palace's lesser-used talent to impress. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, scoring for the second game in succession.
