We present a home-style version of a drink featured on our latest drinks list. This is a large-volume prepared mix which is packed full of tastes associated with holiday season, which makes it excellent for hosting a celebration. Reserve the remaining cordial to use in breakfast cocktails, puddings, or to mix another batch of this cocktail.

Yields 10 people
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Premix (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Combine the listed components into a pot, bring to a gentle boil, mixing so the sugar melts. Next, remove from the stove and leave to reach room temperature completely. Transfer into a clean bottle, cap it keeping it in the fridge, it can be stored for about four weeks.
To make Batch Mix: Pour the specified spirits and syrup into a sizeable container, let it rest for an hour, then filter it , ideally through a fine cloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
For serving: Measure 85ml of the batch mix to a mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate lightly for a minute to chill. Strain to a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, garnish with a few cranberries and finish by giving it a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
